The City received applications for proposed development at the subject site where the South Hill commercial plaza is located. The proposed mixed-use high-density residential development includes two buildings at 42 and 45 storeys to be connected by a 5-storey podium fronting onto 16th Avenue for a total of 821 dwelling units.

It has been my practice to request applicants for proposed development to present their plans to the community and hear residents’ comments at an informal meeting prior to the statutory public meeting that will be scheduled for all planning applications. The applicant has agreed to participate in an online community information meeting that has been scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, March 31, 2021 (7:00 – 8:30 PM)
